ABRCMS Judges' Travel Subsidy
First-time ABRCMS judges (postdoctoral scientists and research faculty members) available to judge all poster and oral sessions scheduled throughout the conference are eligible to apply for the Judges’ Travel Subsidy, which covers up to $1,850 in travel expenses.
ASM General Meeting Student Travel Grants
ASM members who are undergraduate or graduate students and PhDs or MDs who recently completed their dissertation are eligible to request consideration for a travel grant if they have submitted an abstract for consideration at the General Meeting.
ASM Conference for Undergraduate Educators (ASMCUE) Early-Career Faculty Travel Grant
Offers a $750 travel subsidy to early-career undergraduate faculty, post-doctoral scientists or senior level graduate students interested in teaching careers to attend ASMCUE.
Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting Travel Grants
Undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral fellows may submit a request for a travel grant to the Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting.
Carlyn Halde Latin American Student Travel Grant
This travel grant, administered in collaboration with the Medical Mycological Society of the Americas (MMSA), supports the travel of a student medical microbiologist from Latin America, Puerto Rico or the Caribbean to participate in ASM General Meeting.
Career Development Grants for Postdoctoral Women (CDGPW)
Given to enhance the careers of postdoctoral women with outstanding scientific accomplishments and potential for significant research in the area of microbiology.
ICAAC Student and Post Doctoral Fellow Travel Grant Award
$500 travel support for presenting a poster at the annual ICAAC. Travel grants are selected by the Program Committee on the basis of the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts and sponsored by the ASM Corporate Partners. Preference is given to students who have not received a travel grant in the past two years, and the Committee strives to award only one travel grant per laboratory.
